The Big News.

With facebook, I'm sure most of you have heard the news - but just in case.

Ben and I are moving back to Kansas this fall! We were fortunate enough to have Ben's "dream job" open up and even more fortunate for the wonderful support we've had from the school's former instructor/coach in making this move possible.

The school is called Hutchinson Community College, located in central Kansas in a town named Hutchinson. He will be adding more extensive recruiting activities to his job title but not working with the state 4-H program like he did up here in North Dakota.

While we are excited to move home, its almost bittersweet. We've quickly come to realize how integrated we had made ourselves into our work community and our home community. Overwhelmingly the people up here are dissapointed but supportive of our decision to move closer to family, and for that we are very grateful.

In the meantime, we've been working on selling the house, finding me a job - and furthermore, enjoying the most beautiful time of year in North Dakota while we still can. We make the trek south in the beginning of August. Wish us luck!
