When I was shopping at HomeGoods the other day I ran across "The Greens" by Boston Warehouse. The Greens are handy kitchen dodads that are made from a new recycled material. I'm not really a hippie tree hugger, organic type person (at all, no organic in this house!), but here's something that's Earth friendly that I would use. Each kitchen tool is a character and is made from a recycled blend of polypropylene and shaved wood fiber. Introducing the Green family (that's not quite all of them)...
Personally, my favorites are Josie Green (the Ice Cream Scoop), Marshall Green (the Potato Masher) and Opie Green (the Wine Opener).
